Best Self Atlanta Magazine Readers Vote Dr. Scott Miller “Best Urology Practice” Once Again

After votes by thousands from Best Self Atlanta Magazine readers, Scott D. Miller, MD, MBA, was named the winner for “Best Urology Practice” in 2026 category. 

“It’s an honor to receive this award from Best Self Atlanta especially since it was determined by the votes of readers,” Dr. Scott Miller said. “My practice has always been guided by one consistent philosophy: focus solely on patients’ special needs and perfect the techniques necessary to deliver the best possible care. And I have always believed that patients should be informed and involved in their care,” he explained.

Dr. Miller serves as Medical Director of Wellstar Urology, a 29-physician practice and as Director of Wellstar Robotic Surgical Services. He sees patient at Wellstar Urology in Roswell and at Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center.

A men’s health advocate, Dr. Miller writes a bi-monthly column in Best Self Atlanta magazine on men’s health issues. He is interviewed regularly by local and national media such as Men’s Health, WebMD, Forbes Health, Parade, GQ and CNN. Dr. Miller provides education to other physicians through peer-reviewed journal and book chapter publications, hands-on teaching, and scientific presentations.

He has one of the largest, most diverse experiences in laparoscopic and robotic urology in the Southeast. As the first urologist to perform laparoscopic and robotic surgery in Georgia, Dr. Miller has one of the largest, most diverse experiences with these procedures in the Southeast.  Today he is one of just a few private practice physicians nationwide with extensive experience on the newest generation of surgical robots, Intuitive’s da Vinci SP Robotic System. He is recognized as a national leader in robotic surgery and has performed well over 3,500 robotic surgeries.
